How did we get "Wonderful" from Virman Vundabar?

Peoples!
So although I am disappointed by not being fully able/capable to throw some of you's links on my blaaag wall (Paul Wall anyone?), I am saved by ability/capability to order nonsense on the internet. Today brought the arrival of internet purchase #3 (not counting concert tix) which coincidentally happens to be one of my favourite childhood geek friends. His name is Street Fighter 2. We hung out from ages 14 to about 17... so if you're thinking, "Oh that's so sad he spent his childhood in front of a screen playing video games" that was not the case. I spent my early teen life there.
But I deal & I rise above & I... buy it 9 years later online when it's been discontinued for the old-next-generation video game system that I own. At least it was only $30!!! Wonder if they'll ever re-release GoldenEye?
(FYI - purchased game: Street Fighter Anniversary Collection - usually Ken)
So now what???
Buzz for my 2 choice weekend movies, Casino Royale & For Your Consideration both seem to be getting those good reviews I was hoping for here & here. Can't wait (and with RGervais showin' up FYC!!! Looks promising!!!)
And thoughts on the Tenacious D flick? I'm almost waiting for the disappointment... not quite, but almost... The trailer just didn't do much for me (a power slide? is that the best you got JB?!?) and the soundtrack is apparently quite lackluster compared to their beloved debut. The "single" (is there any point with the D?) does amazingly actually suck. Curious about Let's Go To Prison (w/ TO born Will Arnett), it's directed by interesting great American funny man Bob Odenkirk (who is David Cross' pad'ner in the wonderfully funny/abstract Mr. Show (love the "taint" skit) and still does stuff with him. Ya know... stuff...
Whatever.
That's it - that's my beat.
I heart it out... tomorrow I go to a club.
(Interesting thoughts to follow)

Since we are having a nerdy moment here - excuse me as a push up my glasses...ZIP - I am secertly (well not so much anymore) so excited about this Sunday because the new Nintendo Wii comes out. I am that girl. I love video games. I love to play them and watch them. Really I should seek professional help, but for now I eagerly await the lastest toy for the McLeod's.

The Wii does look enjoyable. Nintendo has always seemed to put out genuinely fun games... hopefully those controllers won't screw everything up! Let me know how it is!

Yep. It's confirmed. I'm a nerd. But I totally blame my husband for that. That happens after 7 years.

I remember many an enjoyable afternoon spent in your basement kicking your sorry ass at nintendo 64. (beetle racing)

And one glorious evening playing Mario Party when Chris lost, got mad, took the video game away from us... and walked home.

Dude. Adding links is easy. You just have to learn html code.

HTML is awethome.
